Two Must-Read Articles for MBAs

Two, short, must-read articles for AU MBAs (both currents and grads) appeared in papers (yes, papers) this past weekend:

The action word “networking” is the key whether you are actively looking for a new job, want to be prepared “just in case,” are seeking new customers or employees or want to help others. Social media such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are only small parts of an effective networking program.

Build your networks before you need them. And, if you don’t think the ax can fall on you with no warning, better think again. A “secure” job can disappear in a flash. Boy Scouts have it right: “Always be prepared.”

The AU MBA program is a traditional MBA program designed for the working professional. Classes meet in the evening and mostly one night each week. Most students complete the program in less than 23 months. The MBA program is offered on the Anderson campus and in several locations in the Indianapolis area. The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) nationally accredits the Anderson University MBA program, and Anderson University is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
